This delightfully unique shawl is a semi-circle, knitted from the bottom up. The patterns used are a Rosebud variation for the centre and a Zigzag Lace for the edging. A challenging knit, starts with the lace edging being knitted for eight points, then the centre pattern stitches are picked up and the entire shawl is knitted (both edgings and centre) throughout.

The larger size measures approx. 42 ins/105cm from top to bottom, and 86 ins/215cm along the top (longest) edge of the shawl ~ using 4 balls of Rowan Kidsilk Haze ~ shade 588 'Drab'.

The pattern is given both as a chart and in partly written format, with helpful detailed advice for its making and aftercare.
