The Blue Diamonds Shawl is a romantic wrap, that can be made either into a full diamond shape (use as a sumptuous throw/Afghan that's unusual, and gorgeous when worn) or as a traditional triangular shawl.

Although it looks a complicated knit, it is quite easy - the edging is knitted at the same time as the body of the shawl.

The shawl measures approximately 48 ins/120cm square and as a triangle it is 82 ins/205cm along the top edge of the shawl, or the diagonally folded diamond. I used 3(5) balls of Rowan Kidsilk Haze yarn ~ shade 587 'Dreamboat'.

The pattern is both charted and in a partly written form, with helpful advice for its making and care.
