The Gossamer Shawl is a unique design and an exceptionally finely detailed example of Shetland lace work. Entirely handmade, it is the result of over 400 hours work by Heirloom Knitting. This original and versatile shawl is based on 19th century antique shawls now found in museums in Scotland. It is made in ivory coloured 1 ply Shetland wool and is sized a generous 96"/240 cms along the top edge, 60"/150 cms from top edge to tip.
