This is a traditional Shetland Hap shawl pattern - a warm garter stitch and Old Shell patterned shawl with a pretty edging.

Made with 14 x 25 gm balls of 2 ply Lace Weight Shetland wool and UK size 9 (3.50 mm, American 4) circular needle 16 - 24 inches (40 cms - 60 cms) long. For the moderately experienced knitter.
