This 100% Shetland 1 Ply Cobweb wool is available in 7 different colours and wound into 25gm balls of approx. 350 metres / 383 yards (60 wpi). Some of the colours come as hanks. £3.25 per ball.
Comprehensive shade cards are also available at £6.75 each.

Shetland Supreme
Important ~ J&S have placed the following message on their website regarding their Shetland Supreme Yarn which is now back in stock:
"...it has come to our attention that by displaying (as a guide) the approximate yardage on a cone we may have inadvertently mislead some of our clients in respect of the average length. For this we offer our sincere apologies."
As we had based our original calculations of yardage on figures supplied by J&S, we have had to revise them in the light of this discovery. The new ones are given below and are approximates.

'Shetland Supreme' is the new lace knitting yarn from J & S which has been developed specifically with the Shetland Lace knitter in mind! It is a superb 'Worsted Spun' yarn, made from 100% Shetland wool, stronger and finer than their 1 ply Cobweb and with a woolier 'halo'.
