Dressing Wires (US : Blocking Wires) are a wonderful aid for the specialist knitter wanting to dress/block regular shapes - such as the triangles, rectangles and squares used for shawls and stoles.

Using wires is the convenient modern alternative to using lots of pins or the more cumbersome traditional wooden knitting frames and provide a speedy and safe way to obtain a regular tension in the drying piece.

These hand-finished wires are made by us from high quality stainless steel with a diameter of 2.35 mm (equals UK 13 / US 0/1). Click image to see Dressing Wires in use.
